In order to comply with the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality especially in relation to children, Fiesta Crafts has adopted the following policy for our competitions directed at children.

For the purposes of this document the child entering our competition is described as the ‘participant’.

Information requested

The following information is requested from the participant when entering a competition:

• Picture of creation
• Name of entrant
• Age of entrant
• Contact telephone number of parent or guardian
• Confirmation from the participant that they have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter.

We never ask for a postal address when an entry is sent.

Method of participation

Competition Entries are sent directly to our agent, Evolution PR who is independent of Fiesta Crafts.

Email entries

are automatically directed to be emailed to:

info@evolution-pr.co.uk

The email is sent directly to Evolution and will be received into a secure mailbox at their premises. Fiesta Crafts will not have direct access to this. Only employees of Evolution-PR who have been CRB checked will be entitled to view these entries.

Evolution PR will forward only the images received to Fiesta Crafts for their selection. Images will be coded in such a way that it will not be possible to know the personal details of the participant.

Publication of entries

We only publish images after we have gained verbal permission from a parent or guardian.

We do not publish pictures showing children nor information that makes a child easily identified.

Publication of Information

The information that will be published on the website is

• First Name of Participant
• Age of participant
• Title of creation
• General Geographical Location (eg town or county – no more specific.)
